Our Story
Pilates Society was founded in 2024 with a deep commitment to the classical Pilates method as it was originally developed by Joseph Pilates. His approach to movement - rooted in control, concentration, centering, precision, breath, and flow, has stood the test of time, proving that true strength comes from intentional practice.
At Pilates Society I uphold these principles, ensuring that every session stays true to his method while honoring the needs of the modern body. The name reflects my belief that Pilates is more than just an exercise - it’s a shared practice, a lifelong discipline, and a space where every body can experience the power of movement. Equipped with a full suite of classical apparatus, Pilates Society is where tradition and transformation meet, creating a refined and purposeful Pilates experience.
Our Founder
Adrien’s journey with Pilates began through years of dedicated training in the classical method. She completed her 600-hour comprehensive certification through the Real Pilates program studying under a direct lineage of Joseph Pilates himself. As a third generation Pilates instructor she was trained to uphold the integrity of the original method, ensuring each movement is executed with precision, control, and purpose. In addition to her Pilates certification, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, which deepened her understanding of movement, biomechanics, and the body’s ability to transform. Her background in both dance and classical pilates allows her to create thoughtful, effective programing that challenges clients while honoring the principles of his method.
